When we launched QuantifyNinja, the Amazon seller ecosystem was still figuring itself out. There were very few tools designed specifically to give sellers real visibility into their business. We built what we wished existed – a complete toolkit that turned raw Amazon data into clarity, action, and profit. Over the years, thousands of sellers trusted us to help them understand their numbers, recover lost revenue, and run their businesses with confidence.
We believe our users deserve a clear, honest explanation – not a vague announcement. Here is what led us to this decision.
Amazon’s Selling Partner API has gone through significant changes in its architecture, permissions, and terms of use. Keeping up with these changes requires deep ongoing engineering investment – and not all capabilities we relied on remain available to third-party platforms in the same way they once were.
Amazon has restricted how personally identifiable information (PII) – including buyer details – can be accessed through the API. This directly affects our invoicing service, which depended on that data to generate compliant invoices on behalf of sellers. Without it, we can no longer offer this feature in a meaningful way.
The cost of maintaining a multi-feature platform that stays current with Amazon’s evolving ecosystem has grown considerably. We reached a point where the pricing required to sustain QuantifyNinja responsibly would no longer be accessible or fair to the sellers we built it for. That is not a trade-off we are willing to make.
